Cycle stands at Grange Over Sands library

Signs for cycle route LCN in Barrhead. Unclear whether the route uses the main road here (that the route has been avoiding along the rest of its length) or the footway.

Footway ends, no pedestrian crossing, or even a dropped kerb, for crossing from the path, bus stop, or rail station, across Kennishead Road.

The path from the bridge ends at a bus stop on Kennishead Road. There is no dropped kerb to get onto the road, and the footway ends shortly after the bus stop.

The path to the left is step-free, while the other two (one to the right out of picture) are stepped ramps.

Bridge across railway, on falling gradient.

Ramp and steps from this path, to the bridge across to Kennishead Road.

Steps without handrail, and ramp, to the railway bridge across to Kennishead Road.

Junction of paths near Glenmuir Drive, looking east.

The arrangement of the bus shelter across the path end does not make for the neatest possible layout.

A pothole around a gully in Cleeves Quadrant, and the path to Priesthill & Darnley station diverging from the road at the bus stop, where there is no dropped kerb.

Two new pedestrian/cycleways under construction - and a barrier moved to allow passage over the bank holiday weekend rather than having to cross the main road twice.

They're not just nasty potholes, but cars are weaving around them into the cycle lane.

Nasty gaps at the edge of the cycle lane

Cycle route under Brunel Way

Butterfly Junction, Cumberland Basin, Bristol

Butterfly Junction graffiti

It's hard to see how 'habitat and access improvements' require Driftway to be closed for almost two months (from early October, in fact).

Markings on the road - very low quality cycling provision. Motor vehicles blocking the footway.

Connaught Road, Knowle West, Bristol

Filwood Broadway

This is how most cyclists will bypass Driftway while it's closed for 'habitat and access improvements'.
